The Hexatech Single Spring Mechanical Seal is an unbalanced, rugged component seal designed for clear liquids, viscous fluids, and media with moderate suspended solids. Utilizing a single heavy-duty helical coil spring combined with a set-screw drive collar, it delivers robust torque transmission and reliable face closing force, preventing spring clogging even in challenging process conditions.

Non-Clogging Coil Spring
The open, single helical spring design resists particulate buildup and crystallization, making it far less prone to clogging than multi-spring alternatives.
Positive Set-Screw Drive
High-torque drive collar with set-screws locks securely onto the shaft, ensuring slip-free rotation and preserving shaft integrity.
Flexible Secondary Sealing
Utilizes dynamic elastomeric O-rings to accommodate thermal expansion, minor axial shaft movement, and vibration.
Rotation Direction Options
Available in right-hand or left-hand spring winding depending on shaft rotation direction (or bidirectional drive designs).
